During the 1930's and 1940's, several National Geo world maps were designed using a projection that separated the eastern and western hemispheres. With their approval we have brought back this classic view of the world with updated, modern cartography and an elegant earth-tone color palette. This new, yet fashionably retro, world map is the World Hemispheres. This is probably the most attractive world map we have produced in over 20 years!

This map is available in laminated, railed or framed. Lamination enhances the surface colors and permits annotation with dry-erase markers. We also now offer a cost effective and eye-appealing hanging option for your wall maps with Wooden Rails. This option will eliminate the need for expensive oversize framing at a portion of the cost!

Framing Details: Swiftmaps is proud to now offer their own line of framed wall maps. We have chosen the top selling 8 finishes of wooden framing and made them available with many of our popular wall maps. All wooden frames are produced with top quality products and professional framers and include all mounting hardware for easy in hanging. Our line of wooden frames are 1 1/4" in width. We have found this to be the most popular size. All framed maps are mounted and laminated with a non-glare 'matte' lamination. Lamination allows for a protective coating, use of pins and/or dry-erase marker use if needed. Custom framing and non-glare glass are available for special order on request. Please note that all framed maps are very fragile and require a heavy-duty custom wood crate for shipping. We take pride in making sure you receive a perfect shipment!!
